As Governor Cuomo extends “New York State on PAUSE” we feel it necessary to remind everyone, no matter how big or small, you can help. As more local businesses shut down and more people are working from home, it’s more important now than ever to show support to your community. Only go out when necessary, practice social distancing, wear a face mask & wash your hands. All these small steps can help flatten the curve and help keep Orleans County safe for all of us.

Even with all the best measures in place to keep us safe, there are still those that will be financially impacted or hurt by this pandemic. Kids who rely on free or reduced-price breakfast and lunch at school risk going hungry, small and large businesses closing and workers loosing wages – this effects all of us.

Currently there are several things each of us can do to help fight back. If you can manage and spare it, you can donate food to local food pantries or donate to the various Orleans County COVID-19 funds. All of your gifts support community resources that serve struggling families in Orleans County.
